Ok so this is a you scratch my back i scratch your back thing. Heres how i see it working, i select an artist, notify that artist that i would like to feature them on my site for said amount of time, that artist then gives me scaled down versions of 4 or so of their works & a little background information, i feature them, they write a journal saying i was featured at such and such. Then visitors of their page visit my site and visitors of my site visit their page, site, profile etc.

Now what i need is some of my friends to help me get started with this whole thing. If anyone would like to be featured please feel free to say so. I have no problems featuring any level of experienced artists work. If you would like to be featured or you have a friend who you think should be. Please respond to this message.

Thank you,
-Tom Mack

Ok, the new set is pretty much done.. I mean it could be finished today, But i have already promised a magazine that they would be the first with the set. When they get back to me with a date. I will stop adding to the set and then soon after they release the issue the set will be in. Then i will upload them to here and you be able to download the full set without commercial licensing rights of course. The rights for commercial use will cost some very small amount. Anyway the first demo has been released and you can check it out at [link]

Sorry for the past 8 Months

OK i had to get that last journal entry off because it has been sitting there since march.

Some of you know that i spent some time in jail recently and that is why i was unable to comment, respond or view anyones work. I wish I would of been able to stay out but unfortunately the state of New Jersey wouldn't let that happen. I am however now on parole or a very strict version of it really, I have allot i have to do and very little time on my hands to do anything else really. I wish i had more time to spend on this site but unfortunately that is not the case at the moment.

On another note in the spare time that i do have to spend on the computer i will be brushing back up on my photoshop skills, & working on some brush sets for "Advanced Photoshop Magazine". My brushes were featured on their complimentary resource CD in Issue #29 I wish i was home for that but i was locked up just as it came out. If anyone saw the article or got to check out the CD please let me know what your thoughts about it were.

OK i am allowed to reveal why i have been so excited recently...

I was asked to be in a magazine for my abilities with photoshop, Mainly my brushes. More specifically i was asked to be in "Advanced Photoshop Magazine" [link] They will do a small article on me and my upcoming website. As well as feature me and my brushes on their resource CD that comes with each magazine. I feel like this is a really big step for me. I think this will drive traffic to my website and will also give me more confidence that i may actually be able make this a career.

anyway i believe that i will be in the very next issue. But it may be the one after that. either way within the next 2 issues of Advanced Photoshop Mag i will be featured if you wanna call it that. I will post the article when i receive my copy.

I was asked to make the brushes submitted to the magazine only obtainable through the magazine but i decided that the mag found me via deviantart so it would be wrong for me to withhold those resources from my fellow deviants when it is those fellow deviants that got me discovered, & well of course I'm gonna put them on my website... Duh :D

I would like to thank all of my fellow deviants that have helped me better myself and my work through your endless favorites comments & overall support over the past 2 years. These past 2 years on deviantart have been great, i only hope that this streak of greatness found here only because of my fellow deviants continues to be a long & prosperous relationship...

i would also like to specially thank
She tends to give me alot of support and sometimes that extra push or bit of confidence that i need to complete my task at hand. & i have to say Thank You!! for that.

This week has been an exciting week for me. I am really not supposed to speak of why, But will tell you this much. I have never been this excited for something ever. Well other than when i was a child at Xmas. But this is real adult excitement i am going thru over here. I wish i could say something about why i am excited but if i do i may screw up my reason for being excited so i am keeping my mouth shut and doing some photoshopping.

I am working on some brush sets. well i have really been working on these for the past couple years but i never seem to have the ambition i need to finish up the sets. I now have that ambition. So i am going to post a list of brushes i am working on, & i would like all of my Fellow Deviants to help me out and Choose what ones they would like to see finished. & what other type of brushes do you think would be helpful for your own work.

Unfinished Brush List

1.!!!!!Finished!!!!! Rain / Tear Drops - (These brushes will range from single drops to full on Rain storms)

!!!!!!finished!!!!!!!!!

2.!!!!!!!!finished!!!!!!Blood / Ink splatter (These brushes will be used to create the effect splattered Blood, Ink, paint or anything else you can think up) - for the most realistic result these brushes are created using Real Blood... well i can go with ink but the blood is cheaper... Blood, Paintbrush, White Paper, Scanner, Photoshop, = Brushes

!!!!!!finished!!!!!!!!
